Home Sweet Home

Since my friend Kimberly came into town we drove to Idaho Falls together last week on Monday. The drive was fun and reminded me of the old days when we made many trips from Provo to Idaho together. This time we just had two babies in the back instead of all our worldly possesions.

Moday before we left Christie (another high school friend) came and hung out at my house while we were getting ready to leave.

While in Idaho Ava and I kept ourselves busy.

- Breakfast at IHOP with friends from high school then hung out at Jayleen's house
- Grilled Pizza on the barbeque
- Made a delicious chocolate cake from scratch
- Celebrated my Dad turning 48!! Happy Birthday Dad!
- Took pictures of Ellie at Kimberly's house
- Went to the zoo on the ONE nice day we were there (Ava's favorites were the camel and Lion)
- Froze our butts off at a track meet for Brianna
- Visited Grandma Stowell (great grandma to Ava)
- Walked around the river with Kimberly and fed ducks and tried not to get soaking wet from the flooding, or blown away with the freezing cold wind.
- Did not enjoy all the wind that was constant ALL WEEK LONG
- Watched Shallin cut Kim's hair and chatted
- Friday drove to Utah and slept in SLC so we could go to Jon's graduation the next day
- It was an exhausting week but so much fun to see Kim so much and my family and other friends too of course :)
