Moab Spring 2014

We are the tiny ants under the Delicate Arch
We went to Moab this past weekend and had a blast! We hiked Delicate Arch and Ava did the entire thing by herself! I was so proud of her! She turns bright red when she gets hot. She is not a huge fan of the heat.

Ava found some shade to rest under

Bennett fell asleep on the way back. He is staring straight ahead and completely asleep. So cute!

We also went to the Sand dune arch which was soo fun! It is a super short hike which is more like a walk up into a huge sand filled area with an arch. It was shaded and so refreshing to get out of the sun and play.

Jared climbed up onto Sand Dune arch. Bennett tried to crawl up after him.

The desert is so beautiful in May! These flowers were blooming everywhere and the weather was gorgeous! This is the view from our campsite. Ava loved camping so much! Too bad camping with Bennett is pure torture when bedtime rolls around, or we would probably go camping a lot more.

Our second day there we rented a jeep and rode some trails. Fins and Things, and Hoorah Pass. Ava was super scared at first (as was I), because there were some super steep hills we were climbing up and down. But towards the end Ava loved it and those big hills became no big deal since we realized what jeeps can do. They are pretty amazing vehicles! Jared loved every minute driving off road!
