Mazatlan

Our 2nd stop on our cruise was Mazatlan. It was our least favorite port, but we still enjoyed ourselves, especially the awesome weather! We wanted to go hang out at the beach and heard that the "golden zone" was a great place to do that. So we got off the ship and ended up going on a trolly tour ride through the town in order to get to the beach. It was a cool tour. We got to see a light house (I think they said it is the tallest natural lighthouse in the world?) That is the big hill in the first picture. Then we saw a cathederal which was cool. We also so a cliff diver which was way awesome. He jumped off of a platform into the ocean, but he couldn't just dive straight down or he would hit rocks so he had to jump way out. Impressive. After the tour we finally made it to the beach... it turned out that we purchased a tour that included All you could drink beer and margaritas... haha. We probably could have gotten on a cheaper tour. So instead of drinking we walked down to the beach. Well this was probably the most annoying beach I have ever been too. There were people trying to sell us stuff EVERYWHERE! Like every minute a new person would be asking if we wanted to buy something. We did buy an awesome kite which you can see in the picture with me standing on the beach. It was 3 dollars and well worth it. We also bought some fruit, papaya and mangos with lime juice on them. Delicious! Mazatlan was the most ghetto out of the 3 places we visited which may have been why it was our least favorite. It could also have to do with the fact that we just went on a tour and didn't do anything adventurous which is what we really like :) It was definately a cool place to go though and we saw some cool things!
