Ava is ONE!

Wow! A whole year has gone by since the most wonderful little girl joined our family. It seriously has been the best year of our lives! Ava has changed a lot in the past year and it has been so much fun to see her grow and learn new things every day.

Right now Ava is:

A Huge copycat. We can make her laugh just by pretending to laugh, make her sneeze, play peekaboo, do her crazy head and say numerous words.

A jibber jabber. She is learning so many new words! It is so fun to hear her try to say things. Blanky (didi), temple(bembo), bumbo, balloon,baby (she calls most little kids babies) and grandma. I love her little voice.

Becoming clingy. Or I guess she is learning about stranger danger. She is more cautious about who she will let hold her. She LOVES mommy. A LOT. She loves daddy too, as long as he is not anywhere near mom, especially kissing her or pretending to tackle her.

In love with her blanky. She throws her nose into and sniffs every single time she sees it. Hilarious.

Not able to hold still. She wants to constantly be moving. Crawling, climbing, grabbing, touching, feeling, opening, taking out of, etc. Church is tough.

Getting closer to walking. I think she could if she wasn't scared.

A sharer. She always makes sure to offer me whatever she may have whether that be her sippy cup of milk, her dum dum from the grocery store, her chewed on celery stick (which she won't take out of your face until you pretend to eat it), or her balloons she has been towing around all day long. Gotta love those baby germs.

So much fun! We are so blessed.
